Meet the founder

My name is Francisco Avancena, and I am the founder and operator of FCA Land Investing LLC. I’m a devout Catholic, a young entrepreneur, and a future family man from California.

My Story

My inspiration to become an entrepreneur started with my father. Coming from the Philippines, my dad, who was also a successful entrepreneur, showed me the value of hard work and perseverance. His dedication and example have shaped my approach to business and life.

Following his example, I’m working to carry on his legacy. With his background in real estate, I always knew I wanted to enter this field, though I wasn’t sure when or in what capacity.

Land investing drew my interest because I believe it addresses a critical issue facing my generation—the lack of affordable housing. By acquiring land directly from sellers, my goal is to make land more accessible, giving more people the chance to build their own forever homes. This also allows me to help landowners by alleviating the financial burden of paying taxes on unused lots. Eventually, I would want to expand my business to developing middle-income housing.

As for what drives me today, it’s my partner, who has been by my side throughout this journey. I hope to soon call her my wife, and together, I dream of building a big family and a place we can call our home. This, to me, is the American Dream, and I thank God for the opportunity to pursue it.
